50 State Quarters Coin Specifications
The 50 State Quarters were issued between 1999 and 2008. During this time, the circulating coins were produced at the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. The proof coins were produced for collectors at the San Francisco Mint. The specifications of the coins remained the same for the duration of the series. A 90% silver, 10% copper version of the proof coin was also minted for each year.
